Werewolf Tycoon 1.1.0

Whenever a game has the tycoon word in its title it usually means it is a complex economic simulation of sorts. Well, that's not always the case apparently. I imagine that if it were about vampires, you would get a game about a board of vampires managing some big economic or entertainment complex. Every once in a while they need to snatch a visitor without raising to much suspicion. But since the werewolf is not that cerebral of a creature, you just need to skip the management part and go straight to feasting on human flesh.

Werewolf Tycoon is a game about a homeless werewolf that likes to spend time hiding inside a urban park bush. Werewolf need to eat a full sized human each full moon in order to survive. Unfortunately for our poor lycanthrope, every night is a full moon night. So there's only one thing left to do. Get out of your home shrub and snatch at least one human before sunrise. Preferably more.

The ideal situation is one where you manage to eat multiple humans every night without being spotted. If you get spotted however (and assuming the witness manages to escape) people will become more aware of your presence. That will translate into journalists that try to capture a picture of you. Eventually this will result in the army coming in and eliminating your sorry hide. Before that happens though, you have a chance of a lifetime (literally) to munch on as many humans as possible in order to get the highest score!

The werewolf is very easy to control. You just tap on the spot you want to move, on the human you want to grab or into the shrub if you want to hide. That's about it. Timing it perfectly though is another matter. Becoming a ninja werewolf is no easy task, and will require many incarnations to pull a good score.

Conclusion

Werewolf Tycoon is a casual game with charming graphics (if you ignore the garish theme) and easy gameplay. Repeated plays get more satisfying as you learn to maximize score. Ultimately though, you will move one, but as the game is free, this is a rock solid deal.
